This project was meant to showcase the working life of a group of cooks at a kitchen on Whyte Avenue, a popular entertainment and nightlife hub in Edmonton. This is a photojournalistic essay which focuses on the gritty conditions, and the stress which cooks work under. No photos were staged; all shots were captured in real time, without direction.
